1. enrollment
When students initiate commencement, they automatically agree to the at all-time current terms and conditions and prices given by I’M A MUSICIAN. Terms and Conditions are applicable and binding
until terminated in writing, by either party.
2. payment
Semester Fees are invoiced via e-mail at the beginning of each month or semester. Each semester lasts about 5 months: Fall semester from mid-August to end-December and Spring semester from January to mid-June. When a student enrolls late in the semester the fee will be reduced accordingly. The services are offered at the current rates stated on I’M A MUSICIAN’s website https://imamusician.no/prices/. We reserve the right to vary prices and rates between semesters. All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The fees are non-refundable, due to absence by student (regardless of reason).
3. absence
If the student is not able to attend a lesson, please give at least a 48-hour notice via e-mail or SMS to teacher or administration at I’M A MUSICIAN. Only if the notice is given prior to 48 hours, will a make up lesson be made within reasonable scheduling limits. There will only be given maximum two make up lessons per student per semester and this is entirely dependent if the teacher is available to do it. In the absence of teachers, there will be a substitute teacher, or we will re-schedule if possible. The lesson fee will be refunded if a teacher cancels and it is not possible to reschedule or substitute.
4. teaching material
Books, original sheet music and other teaching materials required differs and are therefore not included in the semester fee. Students are themselves responsible for acquiring the required materials.
In cases where it’s possible to order through our services, administrative costs will be added and invoiced (includes shipping, handling and customs).
5. period of binding and termination
Unless other agreements are made, the students’ place is reserved and automatically continued to the next semester and academic year – until terminated. Termination must be done in writing by end of the semester, otherwise the student will be invoiced for the next semester. Already started semester deals are terminable, but non-refundable in its entirety. I’M A MUSICIAN reserves the right to terminate lessons for lack of payment, if a student is not making adequate progress, or if regular practice is not in evidence. Sufficient timely notice will be given in advance of any termination of lessons.
